How to Stretch Deep in the Hip Flexors With Machines (Video)

I'm Andrew Chaddick, personal trainer at The Houstonian Club and this is how to stretch deep in the hip flexors with machines. Now if you spend most of your day in a seated position, your hip flexors are tight and they need to be stretched. Now you may think that a machine is necessary to do this but really the best hip flexor mobility can be done simply on a physio ball. Begin in a kneeling position with your back foot elevated on top of the physio ball. Initiate the stretch by moving your hip flexor towards the floor and hold for 20 to 30 seconds. Intensify the stretch by sitting up straight and tall and bringing your hips back towards your heel. Hold this stretch for another 30 seconds and your hip flexors will feel great.
